Innovative

Schneider Electric Telemecanique brand has been a pioneer in introducing advanced technologies, from the first contactor to today’s embedded Bluetooth technology. Today the focus is on making these products easier for customers to use, with features like built-in operator interface screens, embedded web servers and Ethernet ports to simplify communication.

Intelligent

Maximum functionality in every product is a Schneider Electric hallmark. Modular designs allow customers to assemble just the right components for a particular application. Microprocessors make processes more automatic or sense problems quicker, improving quality and reducing downtime for customers.

Open

Schneider Electric Telemecanique products use open technologies and international standards reduce customer costs for applying new technology. Modbus Ethernet TCP/IP, for example, is a free protocol that has no annual licensing fees or requirements.

Programming software is based on XML and Java applets, so it’s easy for anyone familiar with Microsoft to create or modify applications. And open control devices like PLCs and drives connect to any fieldbus for easier integration.

Compact

Advanced technology is applied to make Schneider Electric Telemecanique products smaller, providing greater reliability in less space, like the new Altivar 71 drive that is 25% smaller than previous generations. That takes up less control panel space, reducing the footprint of many machines.

Flexible

Designed for maximum versatility, Schneider Electric Telemecanique products can be used in a broad range of applications without expensive customization. The unique TeSys U-line starter, for example, combines a circuit breaker, contactor and relay all in one 45mm wide unit, reducing the footprint by more than half yet allowing last minute customization for different customer needs.

Simple

Above all else, Schneider Electric Telemecanique products are consciously designed from a customer’s point of view: easier to select, install, integrate, operate and maintain out of the box, without requiring expensive engineering support from the customer or supplier to perform to expectations. And they’re built to stand up to the demanding environments of real-world applications.
