IST – Implementation Success Training Schedule

For USA and Canadian customers, the Knoxville office provides 2-day introductory training courses, included as part of your instrument purchase agreement.

These courses are termed "Implementation Success Training", as their primary focus is to build confidence and success in building machines for vibration data collection and analysis utilizing software programs and hardware in the Commtest toolkit. The class participants will load the Ascent® software on training lab computers and build a database and routes. Attendees will also practice communications with the vbSeries® analyzers and learn basic skills for data collection with our analyzers and communicate actual data back into the Ascent® software. Data manipulation: charting, views and reporting are also covered and practiced. This is a very hands-on course for newer customers.

Introduction to Vibration Training Schedule

This 2-day course provides new-to-vibration customers with an understanding of basic vibration principles, terminology and an introduction to how specific machinery faults are detected utilizing this technology. This course should be a pre-requisite for newer personnel prior to taking the IST course or Vibration Analysis Category I training. The course is offered in our Knoxville, TN training facility.

Advanced Ascent® Software Applications Training Schedule

This 3-day course provides our more advanced users practical, hands-on exercises and labs for applying new and advanced features of the powerful Ascent® software in analysis, reporting, charts, views and many other advanced applications. More advanced machine build applications and advanced view modifications, etc. are covered and documented. The course is offered in our Knoxville, TN training facility.

Balancing Principles & Applications Training Schedule

This 1-day course covers the basic principles of rotor balancing including plotting, vectors, etc. and provides practical, hands-on exercises and experience in applying the vbSeries® analyzers for machinery balancing applications. The course is offered in our Knoxville, TN training facility.

Advanced vbSeries® Analyzer Training Schedule

This 1-day course covers new and exciting advanced features of the vbSeries® analyzers. The class covers multi-channel and cross-channel applications, bode plots, bump tests, and many other applications. This course will assist you is successfully applying your Commtest vbSeries® instrument to identify root causes by implementing advanced features and applications of these powerful analyzers. The course is offered in our Knoxville, TN training facility.
